Such requirements from council or local authorities and/or shopping centres can include:

Australian building code regulations – this can differ from state to state;
Licence accreditations across all states and territories (a comprehensive application process applied for annually per state, which includes proof of building knowledge, competency, qualifications and building history);
Structural assessments, documentation requirements and approvals; and
Appropriate health requisites including suitable and specific materials, appropriate fixtures & fittings, equipment and necessary layout configuration and functionality.
