Nicholaas originally worked on a Shape Shopfitters project as a sub-contractor then joined the team as a full time employee and has now been with the company since 2020. His qualifications include a Certificate III in Building Construction. He was very proud to be promoted to a Site Supervisor and oversees some of the smaller shopfitting projects.
Nic’s responsibilities involve the setting out of a job, working on site on a day by day basis to managing the construction as well as organising trades and deliveries. He appreciates working at Shape Shopfitters, especially when the company designs, project manages and fits out the site. He likes working under pressure and really enjoys handing a completed project over to a satisfied client.
Successful project can’t be completed without the backup Nic receives from the Shape Shopfitters Administration and Production teams as they assist in ensuring the project stays on time and within budgets.
As the father of two young children, Nic has a very busy life outside of work. He thoroughly enjoys camping and 4WDing and recently took a trip around Australia with his wife and sons.
