Signwriter
Barrie is a qualified Signwriter and really enjoys all aspects of his signage trade – especially freehand signwriting.
Barrie became part of the Shape Shopfitters team when the company he was working for was purchase by Shape over 15 years ago.
In his role, Barrie gets to experience a diverse range of signage techniques, including developing and manufacturing specific signs as well as installation at various shop fit outs. Aside from the computer-generated designed images, he also gets to use his expertise in brushwork to complete hand produced signage.
When asked to nominate a major achievement during his time with the company, Barrie responded there were too many to highlight just one!!
He appreciates the flexibility his role provides and relishes the comradery of his fellow workers.
In his leisure time Barrie is a member of the Collingwood Football Club and the Whittlesea Township Moto Club and spends time training at F45, playing football and motorbike riding.
