Project Manager
Anthony originally came to work at Shape Shopfitters back in 2008, as a work experience student when in high school. He then started a pre-apprenticeship in 2009 and has been with the company ever since.
During his apprenticeship as a Carpenter, Anthony worked with lots of other trades and shortly after qualifying, started working as a Site Supervisor coordinating site works. Due to his dedication, commitment and work ethics, Anthony was promoted to a Project Manager in early 2023, with the main responsibility of over overseeing several projects at once. He is required to manage trades and sub-contractors, materials, budgets and meet with clients and Site Supervisors on a regular basis to ensure each project is on time and meeting client needs. A large component of this role is negotiating with the commercial joinery, signage and architectural metal work teams, together with the Project Coordinator, to confirm the project timelines and budget are on track. Anthony has taken on this challenge with his usual enthusiasm and has excelled in this project management role.
Having been with the company for over 15 years, Anthony has witnessed the growth and development of a great team and supportive culture at Shape Shopfitters.
Like many of the locals, Anthony is an avid support and member of the Collingwood Football Club but also supports the Melbourne Storm Rugby Team.
